This mill is managed and operated by Kennecott Uranium Company and can be
seen on this
aerial view. This uranium mill is the only remaining conventional uranium
mill in Wyoming. It is one of the four (4) remaining conventional uranium
mills in the United States. The other uranium mills (and their owners) in
the United States are the Canon City Mill near Canon City, Colorado (Cotter
Corporation), White Mesa Mill near Blanding, Utah Denison Mines.) and the Shootaring Canyon (Tickaboo) Mill near Tickaboo, Utah
(Uranium1).
